Bob Dick

Bob was born in Storm Lake, IA and raised on a farm near Early, IA. Being raised Catholic and attending Catholic school thru ninth grade formed the base of Bob's faith life. He graduated Crestland High School in 1970, attended Buena Vista College and Drake University, graduating with a BS degree in pharmacy in 1975. Bob worked at Ressler Drug in Storm Lake, IA, and then joined Hy-Vee and worked for them at Newton, Marshalltown and Des Moines before retiring in 2018, after 41 years.

Bob and wife Merilee have one son, Ryan, who lives in West Des Moines. Ryan and his wife Jayme have four children, the reason for Bob and Merilee's move to West Des Moines in 2017.

Besides Catholic radio and involvement with family, Bob enjoys church activities, reading, sports, and gardening.

Cindy Staron … Hometown of Lohrville, Iowa, moved to Marshalltown in 1986 with my husband Dave and our three children. I am a retired Family & Consumer Science teacher. Over the past years I have been involved with several groups and activities in our Catholic Church community. Currently you might find me in the garden or flower beds at our home or entertaining Grandchildren or stamping! I’m a Big Sis in the Big Brother Big Sister program and recently committed more of my time to the Emergency Food Box here in Marshalltown.

Roger Polt: I was raised in rural Pierce, Nebraska, the 11th of 11 children. I attended eight years of St. Joseph Catholic grade school in Pierce, graduated from St. Nicholas of Tolentine Apostolic Seminary in Norfolk, Connecticut and received my BAE from Wayne Stat College in Wayne, Nebraska. I married my second grade sweetheart, Lois, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pierce and was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in the Archdiocese of Omaha in July of 1983. I've been a salesman all of my working life. My job took me and my family to Marshalltown in 1995. I am a charter member of the Marshalltown Association for Education and Evangelization. I was named General Manager of Catholic Radio of Marshalltown 2017.

Born and raised in Omro, Wisconsin. Graduated from Omro High School
Earned a BS in Electrical Engineering, communications option, from Michigan Technological University Houghton, Michigan.
Treasurer of the Emergency Food Box.

Jarret Heil



I was born and raised on a family farm near Haverhill, Iowa. I attended Marshalltown Area Catholic Schools and St. Henry and Immaculate Conception Parishes. In high school I was a member of the broadcasting club at Marshalltown Community College. I have a business management degree from Central College and served as Marshall County Treasurer for 12 years and now serve as Marshall County Supervisor and the Director of Financial Operations at St. Francis of Assisi Parish and School.

As the  Communications Specialist at Catholic Radio of Marshalltown I am responsible for informing listeners of upcoming events and special programming using text messaging and emails.
I’m married to my wife Dawna and we have 4 children, Lillian, Jack, Nolan and Duke.

Jeff Harris


I was raised in Ft. Doge, Iowa and have three older sisters. Together with my wife we moved to Marshalltown in 1986 and raised two daughters. In 2003 I was ordained a permanent deacon and serve in the St. Francis of Assisi parish in Marshalltown. Since retiring from a sales career I have spent my time volunteering in various ministries in the Marshalltown community. In my free time you will find me riding a bike, playing pickleball or being a grandpa.

Linda Jacobs


Linda is a cradle Catholic, married to Greg and mother of six adult children. She is a Registered Nurse and has been a Fertility Educator for over 30 years. In 2019, she and two other members of the Culture of Life Committee worked together to establish Guiding Star Marshalltown, a women’s healthcare center. Linda has also been a long-time listener of Catholic radio and particularly loves to learn about apologetics. Her favorite program is Call to Communion. In 2022, she began training in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program and is now a Level 1 Catechist. Linda is passionate about learning and sharing information on fertility awareness, wellness and our Catholic faith!
